Brenda Rynders, MSc

Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary is the heart and soul of Brenda's passion for farmed animal welfare and advocacy. Since moving to California in 2017, she has been involved with numerous farmed animal sanctuaries and has found a special affinity for working with sheep. Brenda also has an admirable passion for animal assisted therapy and holds two Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Anthrozoology. Her background in sanctuary work and academic experience have allowed her to fully create her vision for Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary. Brenda is also an avid lover of Halloween and the horror film genre, which melds perfectly with her vision to bring the fun of Halloween to future Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary programs.
